about this site

This website was created by Alice Dreger in January, 2010, in response to clinicians’ requests for help in stopping what they believe may be an ongoing medical ethics travesty. This original purpose of this site was to organize effective assistance to these clinicians from professional bioethics researchers, and to provide information to all interested parties.

Today this site appears to be providing information to clinicians and to individuals and families affected by CAH, as well as to researchers, investigators, faculty, and students interested in these issues, so it has reshaped and updated accordingly.

The site was created using iWeb and is personally funded by Alice Dreger. Unless otherwise indicated by signatures, all material is written by Alice Dreger. Web assistance is provided by Lisa Lees.

To clarify: fetaldex.org is not an organization; it’s a website that functions as a clearinghouse for the work of lots of folks who are worried about this scene. If you cite material from this site, you should indicate authorship according to who authored what. Again, if no author is specifically named on a fetaldex.org page, the author should be presumed to be Alice Dreger.
